Rating
I have tried a lot of the baby carriers...beco, ergo, mobi, traditional slings, etc....this is hands down the best baby carrier on the market!! It is soft and all cotton so no hard parts to pinch your baby or rough fabric against his/her skin. It can do all the best positions and is totally safe. I am also able to slip it off when my daughter falls asleep without waking her up which is not possible with most other carriers. Buy this carrier! The only comment is that I think that the sizing is incorrect. I am a size 4 dress and according to the company's sizing I should use a size small. My daughter was quite small when she was born and the size medium works well for us but is tight after washing. I have tried the size small and it squishes her against me in an uncomfortable fashion. I would suggest buying one size bigger than they say to.

I owned a Baby Bjorn with my first daughter and found it to be very hard on my back in a matter of minutes. The Moby D allows me to carry my baby for long periods of time in comfort! I also found the directions very easy to follow.

We have two of these, one in a brocade and one in the hand-woven. The woven is definitely a bit more "grippy" through the panel, and it makes for some really nice carrying options, including back carries, which I would not do with most stretchy wraps. The brocade is a little slippery for back carries, but gorgeous on the front. This is a really nice hybrid between stretchy and woven carriers.

My 5 month old son loves being carried facing away from me. It's pretty comfortable to wear the carrier. After a while, the baby starts to feel pretty heavy, but I think that is because he weighs 17 pounds. I like that the carrier allows for so many different positions for baby and that it can be thrown in the washer.

Rating
I had a Bjorn, but had heard so much about how it wasn't good for babies, that it's a "Crotch dangler" & bad for their spine, but didn't pay much attention to that because I barely used mine with my older kids. Well, along came a VERY fussy baby & I needed something ASAP! Thought long & hard about a wrap but didn't want to spend that much $. I found this on sale at Baby k'tan's website and it'a the best thing I ever bought. I ordered it on a Tuesday, it came Friday & my little princess was asleep in it not even 5 minutes after I put it on :-). I love that it's a little stretchy so it's easy to get baby in and out, but is also tight enough that you feel like baby's secure. When it gets a little stretched out (could even be at the end of the day if you wear it a lot or have a heavy baby, which can be a little bit of a pain) you just toss it in the washer & dryer - I LOVE THAT! My baby's a little older now and wasn't loving the snug feeling from the k'tan any more so I bought a Mei tai which isn't as snug all over & that's what I use most of the time now, but this should be on every new mon's list, even if you're not a "babywearing" type.

Rating
I have 4 children and have been through many baby carriers! I purchased this with my fourth baby and whis I'd had it with all my babies!
Very soft cotton with a bit of stretch. So easy to use! Many different carry positions! Easy to follow instructions! I love the double loop design. I can easily slip it over my head, get the baby wrapped up and use the additional sash tied around my waist for extra support!
I had tried the Moby wrap, but didn't like all the wrapping and tying! It was also a bit difficult to figure out and get a good fit. With the baby k'tan there is no wrapping/tying! It's so easy to use and wraps/holds the baby just like the moby wrap! I suggest checking out the baby k'tan website to look at the demo video and see just how easy this is!
Washes up great in the washing machine. Can be dried in the dyer, but does shrink a little. It is 100% cotton, so this is to be expected. But, it does stretch back out after wearing it once or twice. I suggest just letting it hang dry to avoid the shrinkage.

Rating
I have a 19months old daughter she weights about 23lbs and I used this carrier to travel on the train and bus in NYC. It was a challenge to get her in the carrier, but once she was in, it was very easy and secure for the 2 of us, she seemed comfortable when she was sleeping. However when she was awake it was a completly different story, she did not like it and wanted out of it. So it is a great product however not for an awake toddler. Unless she is facing out, which seemed to calm my daughter a little.

Rating
I have a few carriers and this is by far the best, most versatile, and easiest to deal with. It's easy to figure out - took me three tries to get it down. It's easy to store - just folds up. Probably most importantly, it's super easy for getting babe in and out with one person - even the bjorn-type frontpacks, it's really best to have another person help you in and out. I love this thing - would highly recommend to anyone!

This is the best carrier that I've tried! I used to have a sling (too hard on the shoulders), a wrap ( great, but putting it on is annoyig, especially when a crying baby is waiting, this carrier has the same benefits without the hassle), and the baby biorn (kills the shoulders over a short period, and not the same closeness with your baby). Its sooo easy and fast to put on, very comfortable, has optional tie for extra support (for heavier babies/toddlers). Great for nursing, and keeping your hands free- no one can even tell, especially if you have a nursing shirt on too! So versatile, i use it for my newborn, and my toddler- lots of differet positions... I wouldnt be able to function without it- whe running errrands use this instead of carts or carseats, baby wil be happier for much lomger, which makes it easier for you!!
